Little Fox Portraits

Parent Help Hub

Most questions can be answered in under a minute below. We kept this page straightforward on purpose — fewer scavenger hunts, fewer mystery shipping timelines, fewer “where did my gallery go?” moments.

Quick answers

  • Didn’t get your gallery email? Check spam/junk first, then email us with your child’s full name and school.
  • Need your digital download? It comes in a separate email after your order is completed.
  • Need to change an order? Contact us as soon as possible. Orders are typically held for about 48 hours before being sent to the lab.
  • Waiting on a batch order or composite photo? Some school orders are held until after retake day so absent students can be added to the final group image.

Gallery access & ordering

Please check your spam or junk folder first and search your inbox for Little Fox Portraits.

If you still can’t locate it, send us:

  • Your child’s full name
  • School name
  • Grade and teacher, if applicable

We’ll resend the correct gallery link. Sometimes the original email lands in spam, and sometimes there was a small typo in the email address when it was entered.

If a gallery asks you to sign up for reminders, one of two things is usually happening:

  • The photos have not been released yet
  • The gallery has already been archived

School galleries are usually delivered within 7 business days of photo day. If this was a recent job, it may simply not be ready yet.

If it is an older job, email us and we can usually reopen the gallery for you.

There is not a hard ordering deadline for most galleries, but they are eventually archived to keep the system organized and encourage timely ordering.
  1. Select the package or product you would like.
  2. Choose your pose or image.
  3. Adjust and confirm the crop if prompted.
  4. Add optional items such as digital files or retouching, if available.
  5. Proceed to checkout and complete payment.

Nothing is finalized until checkout is fully completed.

The shopping cart allows you to approve the crop before placing the order, and orders are typically held for about 48 hours before being sent to the lab.

If you catch a mistake quickly, email us as soon as possible and we can often fix it before printing.

If the order has already gone to production, we may still be able to help, but replacement costs may apply.

Delivery, shipping & downloads

Free shipping to the school: This option is usually available for the first couple of weeks after the gallery goes live. Orders are grouped together, sent to the lab, reviewed by us, and then delivered to the school for distribution.

Ship to home: Orders placed after the free school-shipping window usually ship directly to your home.

If your order included a composite group photo, it may be held until after retake day so absent students can be added to the final image. That extra step is one of the biggest reasons those jobs take longer.

If it has been longer than expected, email us with your order number, child’s name, and school so we can investigate quickly.

Digital files are delivered through a separate email after the order is completed.

Please check:

  • Your inbox for a second email with the download link
  • Your spam or junk folder
  • That the order was fully completed at checkout

Download links do expire after a period of time, so we always recommend downloading the file to your device as soon as it arrives.

Email us a quick photo of the damage or the incorrect item if you can. Our lab typically needs that image to file a claim with the shipping carrier.

We’ll work on getting the order reprinted and sent back out.

Retakes & session-specific questions

Retake requests are handled through our retake request process so we can keep everything organized and make sure the correct image is used for orders and yearbooks.

Please include your child’s name, school, and the reason for the retake when you contact us, and we’ll confirm the next steps.

Fall portraits: students can usually be photographed on retake day.

Daycares and spring portraits: we usually do not return for an additional makeup day because of the size of the setup required.

Backgrounds: Many fall and indoor sports portraits allow background choices during ordering. Images photographed in real environments — like events, outdoor sports, or arena sessions — usually cannot have the background changed afterward.

Sibling photos: These are offered for some preschools, dance schools, spring sessions, and select schools, but not every program includes them.
