Most questions can be answered in under a minute below. We kept this page straightforward on purpose — fewer scavenger hunts, fewer mystery shipping timelines, and fewer “where did my gallery go?” moments.

Quick answers

  • Didn’t get your gallery email? Check spam or junk first, then email us with your child’s full name and school.
  • Need your digital download? It comes in a separate email after your order is completed.
  • Need to change an order? Contact us as soon as possible. Orders are typically held for about 48 hours before being sent to the lab.
  • Looking for older photos? Older galleries may be archived or retired as part of our image retention process. Availability is not guaranteed.
  • Waiting on a batch order or composite photo? Some school orders are held until after retake day so absent students can be added to the final group image.

Gallery access & ordering

Please check your spam or junk folder first and search your inbox for Little Fox Portraits.

If you still can’t locate it, send us:

  • Your child’s full name
  • School or organization name
  • Grade and teacher, team, or coach, if applicable

We’ll check the information connected to the gallery and resend the correct link when it is available. Sometimes the original email lands in spam, and sometimes there was a small typo in the email address when it was entered.

If a gallery asks you to sign up for reminders, one of two things is usually happening:

  • The photos have not been released yet
  • The gallery has already been archived or retired

School galleries are usually delivered within 7 business days of photo day. If this was a recent job, the images may simply still be in production.

If this is an older job, the gallery may have been removed from normal online viewing and ordering as part of our image retention process.

Older galleries are not guaranteed to remain available indefinitely. Occasionally, a retired gallery may be featured during a special Archive Event or Memory Week before it is removed from our online system.
  1. Select the package or product you would like.
  2. Choose your pose or image.
  3. Adjust and confirm the crop if prompted.
  4. Add optional products such as digital files or retouching, if available.
  5. Proceed to checkout and complete payment.

Nothing is finalized until checkout is fully completed.

The shopping cart allows you to approve the crop before placing the order, and orders are typically held for about 48 hours before being sent to the lab.

If you catch a mistake quickly, email us as soon as possible and we can often correct it before printing.

If the order has already gone to production, we may still be able to help, but replacement or production costs may apply.

Gallery archives & image retention

At Little Fox Portraits, we don’t believe children’s portraits should live on servers forever. Instead of storing children’s images indefinitely, we remove archived galleries and image files after a reasonable period of time as part of our commitment to protecting your family’s privacy.

Galleries are available for a reasonable ordering period and may then be archived before being removed from our online system.

When practical, we may hold a special Archive Event or Memory Week before older galleries are retired. These events give families one additional opportunity to order prints or save digital images they would like to keep.

Because different schools, leagues, and programs have different schedules, gallery availability and archive timing may vary.

Availability depends on the school, organization, photography program, and age of the gallery.

Current galleries generally remain online through their regular ordering period. Older galleries may then be archived and eventually removed from online viewing.

When a gallery is scheduled for a special Archive Event, Memory Week, or final retirement period, we may send an email to the address associated with that gallery.

We recommend downloading purchased digital files promptly and saving them in more than one secure location. The online gallery should not be treated as permanent family storage.

Once a gallery has been retired from our online system, it is no longer available for normal viewing or ordering.

In some cases, we may still have an offline copy that allows us to retrieve older images. This is a manual process, availability cannot be guaranteed, and an archive retrieval or reactivation fee may apply.

If you are looking for older photos, please send us:

  • Your child’s full name
  • The school, league, or organization
  • The approximate year or season
  • The sport, event, grade, or teacher, if applicable

Once we have that information, we can check what may still be available.

An Archive Event or Memory Week is a limited period when selected older galleries are temporarily made available again before they are retired from our online archive.

Depending on the program, we may reopen galleries by season, organization, graduation year, or school year.

To make browsing easier, only the galleries included in that particular event may be available. Other years or seasons may be featured separately at another time.

We do not guarantee that every retired gallery will receive another Archive Event, so families should order or download important images while they are available.

Delivery, shipping & downloads

Free shipping to the school: This option is usually available for the first couple of weeks after the gallery goes live. Orders are grouped together, sent to the lab, reviewed by us, and then delivered to the school for distribution.

Ship to home: Orders placed after the free school-shipping window usually ship directly to your home.

If your order included a composite group photo, it may be held until after retake day so absent students can be added to the final image. That extra step is one of the biggest reasons those jobs take longer.

If it has been longer than expected, email us with your order number, child’s name, and school so we can investigate quickly.

Digital files are delivered through a separate email after the order is completed.

Please check:

  • Your inbox for a second email containing the download link
  • Your spam or junk folder
  • That the order was fully completed at checkout

Download links expire after a period of time, so we always recommend downloading the file to your device as soon as it arrives.

Once downloaded, save your images in more than one secure location. An external drive plus a reputable personal backup service is much safer than relying on an online ordering gallery.

Email us a quick photo of the damage or incorrect item if you can. Our lab typically needs that image to file a claim with the shipping carrier.

We’ll work on getting the order reprinted and sent back out.

Retakes & session-specific questions

Retake requests are handled through our retake request process so we can keep everything organized and make sure the correct image is used for orders and yearbooks.

Please include your child’s name, school, and the reason for the retake when you contact us, and we’ll confirm the next steps.

Fall portraits: Students can usually be photographed on retake day.

Daycares and spring portraits: We usually do not return for an additional makeup day because of the size of the setup required.

Backgrounds: Many fall and indoor sports portraits allow background choices during ordering. Images photographed in real environments — such as events, outdoor sports, or arena sessions — usually cannot have the background changed afterward.

Sibling photos: These are offered for some preschools, dance schools, spring sessions, and select schools, but not every program includes them.
